After serveral succesfull exhibitions in Turin and Genova, the collection ‘In Dialogue’, works made by artists Massimo Polello (I) and Barbara Lettany (BE), will be shown in Manna Kunsthuis, a beautiful gallery in the historical center of Bruges, Belgium.

“In Dialogue” presents new work by calligrapher Massimo Polello and photographer Barbara Lettany. Their works go in dialogue with each other, creating an abstract world of color, traces, lines, letters, and texts.

How else but through my hand can I feel alive and that I exist in this world? My hand leaves a trace, my hand writes and it describes me. In this way, letters become a means to exist outside myself.

An echo of a musical movement is visualized by a combination of light, color and suggestive lines. I experience my images as extensions and expansions of the lines along which my world is moving.
